GGMI Vision

Glory of God Ministries International (GGMI) seeks to be a ministry where God’s presence is encountered, lives are transformed, healing and restoration are administered and the love of God is shared. We believe that they are the transformed lives that transform the world, and that love begets love, as the Bible says: “We love Him, because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:19).

Mission Statement

The mission of the GGMI is two-fold:

1. To assist people for holistic life transformation through Christ; and
2. To strengthen individual’s faith in Christ to attain maturity of faith as they share the love of God in extending the Kingdom of God to bring about socio-economic transformation in their communities, societies, and nations.

Objectives

 To achieve the mission and the vision of the Ministry, GGMI will endeavour to engage in:

1. Promoting prayer, intercession, and deliverance as key activities for administering the love of God through our ministry.

• Prayer - We believe that a praying church is a prevailing church and contributes to her flourishing.  
• Prayer is a protective/defensive weapon: “Pray that ye fall not into temptation” (Lk.22:40); “But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith does not faint…” (Lk.22:32); “…pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men…” (2 Thes.3:2).
• Prayer is also an offensive weapon: “The weapon we fight with … have divine power to demolish strongholds” (2 Cor.10:4); “Put on the whole armour of God… Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit” (Eph.6:11-18).
• Prayer is vital as well for revival and advancement of the Kingdom of God: “…pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honoured…” (2 Thes.3:1); “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teachings and to the fellowships, to the breaking of bread and to prayer… And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved” (Acts 2:42, 47b); “Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field” (Mt. 9:38).

• Intercession – This is standing in the gap, pleading on behalf of someone else. It is the ministry of Christ now in heaven (Heb.7:25), and the Holy Spirit within us (Rom.8:27). Since we have the Spirit of God as the body of Christ, we strongly feel the need to engage in intercession ministry for the sake of our neighbours, friends, relatives, the town, the city, the country, and the saints as a whole. We believe intercession draws the mercy of the LORD upon those we intercede for (Eze.22:30). The Syro-Phoenician woman did so (Mt.15:22), the centurion did so (Mt.8:5-6), and we as the church of Christ ought to do so. God has promised His people to be blessed in turn when they intercede for the land (Jer.29:7).

• Deliverance – Healing and deliverance are vital to our ministry as they were to our Lord Jesus Christ while He was here on earth. Christ said, “… the Lord hath anointed Me… to preach deliverance to the captives…” (Lk.4:18). The Bible says doing divine deliverance is doing good, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power; who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil…” (Acts 10:38).

2. Developing sustainable programs for preaching and teaching the Word of God to promote sound knowledge and understanding of God’s purpose in people’s lives.

3. Advancing Biblical family plan as a divine basic social unit to realise God’s love and promote prosperous and fruitful communities and nation as a whole. We believe that God’s own revelation through His Son upholds divine family relationship that founds any strong, stable, and fruitful society; “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Three key words in this scripture underpins our motivation for Godly family plan through our ministry; these are God, the Son, and everlasting life; signifying the relevance of a healthy family in promoting successful life in the world.

4. Providing holistic approach in its ministry that meets spiritual, psychological, and physical needs to the target groups and individuals.

5. Raising and equipping visionary leaders from within and outside the ministry to be agents of change socially, nationally, and globally.

6. Engaging with local, national, and international leaders to understand and serve God’s purpose in their endeavours.

7. Encouraging and supporting churches and other organisations to participate in promoting social wellbeing in their respective communities.

8. Partnering with other like-minded churches and organisations to advance our calling and mission as Glory of God Ministry International.

9. Establishing interdependent centres in different towns and countries that will oversee the vision and mission of the Glory of God Ministry International in their respective regions.

• WE BELIEVE: The Bible consists of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired word of God and truthful in all that it affirms. It is the final authority for Christian faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:15 - 17, 2 Peter 1:19 - 21)

• WE BELIEVE: There is one true God who eternally exists as three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Distinct in relationship, the three persons of the trinity are fully God and are one in essence and purpose. God has revealed Himself to be the infinite personal Creator, who is sovereign over all things. (Genesis 1:26, Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 1:9-11)

• WE BELIEVE: Jesus Christ is God's eternal Son. Being both fully God and fully man; He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of all mankind, rose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven to prepare a place for believers and to intercede on their behalf. (Matthew 1:18-23, 1 Corinthians 15:1-8, Acts 1:9-11)

• WE BELIEVE: Mankind was originally created in God's image but being tempted by Satan, chose to sin and rebel against God. As a result of this fallen condition, God's image has been marred and all men and women are born separated from God and in need of salvation. Through personal repentance and faith in Jesus Christ's finished work on the cross, we are forgiven our sins, reborn by the Holy Spirit and restored into fellowship with God. (Genesis 1:26, Genesis 3:9-13, Romans 5:8-12)
• WE BELIEVE: The Holy Spirit persuades us to repent of our sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord. He lives in us, teaches us, equips us with spiritual gifts for effective ministry and empowers us to live, grow, and serve in obedience to God. (John 16:8-10, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:4-9)

• WE BELIEVE: The Church is the living Body of Christ on earth and comprised of all true believers in Jesus Christ. He is the head and source of the Church's life, which exists to glorify God. The Church fulfills its mission by celebrating the glory and goodness of God, cultivating personal growth in Christ, caring about one another in biblical community and communicating the gospel in word and action to the world. (Matthew 16:15-19, Ephesians 4:14-16, Acts 2:41-47)

• WE BELIEVE: Jesus Christ will physically return to earth to establish his eternal kingdom. He will judge the world, reward the saints and rule for all eternity. This is the blessed hope of the Church and its encouragement for perseverance in faith and ministry. Those who have been reborn in Christ will live with Him forever . (John 14:1-3, Matthew 24:29-31, Revelation 19:11-21)

• MEN’S MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to help every man to know the purpose of God in their lives, Spiritual and physically as the Bible says in the book of Proverb 27:17, ‘Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend’. 

• WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Women are the backbone of the house and they are the pillars of the home. Women are the home maker and they are the builder of the future generation. For Christian woman they bring success to their home in terms of looking after their children and their husband.

Therefore for women to be continually relevant and productive at home there is a need for them to do spiritual evaluation of their lives. That is the purpose of gathering like this to look at our live and appraise our situation and ask God to beautify any areas of our lives that has turned to ashes. We may want to consider several areas of a Christian women like the prayer life, our service in the church, love to our husband, care for our children and understanding to our neighbours.

Many people want to read the Bible from us by looking out our lives as a believer, if any areas of our life is lacking that means it is no longer showing forth the glory of God as is suppose to. We will do all we need to do at this conference such that by the time we are leaving we would have recovered all that have lost in the past.

• MUSIC & WORSHIP

  The Bible says in the book of Psalm22.3 that God inhabits the praises of his people. Inhabit means to dwell in or live in or abide in. In other words, God dwell in the atmosphere of his Praise. Therefore praise is not merely a reaction from coming into his presence BUT praise is a vehicle of Faith which brings us into the presence and power of God. Praise and worship is the Gate- Pass which allows us to enter the sacredness of His Glory. That's why in the book of Psalm 100.4 the Bible says Enter into his gates with Thanks giving and into his courts with praise be thankful unto Him and bless his name: Amen

• YOUTH & CHILDREN

Children ministry is properly cared by the teachers who are really trained as the Bible says in Proverb 22:6 ‘that train up your child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it’.

In Deuteronomy 6:6-7 the Bible says, ‘And these words, which I am commending you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when walk by the way and when you lie down and you rise up’.

Every August, is the month of youth & Children and a specific date has set for their celebration day.
