Bishop Stella Matte is a Founder and the Overseer of The Glory of God Ministry International based in the UK. She is also the Chancellor of the Glory of God Ministries International Institute- UK. Apart from these Stella Matte is a President and CEO of Stella Matte Ministries International UK and an author of books. She Is also, the General and Administrative Secretary of Association of Ministers and Christian Workers- UK. (Nnoboa)

Professionally, Bishop Stella was trained as a Finance Person. She completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy, at the Institute of Finance Management in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The same year she joined Christian Council of Tanzania (CCT), where She worked for CCT for more than ten years before she resigned and joined her family in the UK. While working with CCT She held various positions from Finance officer, Accountant, Finance Director, Deputy Chief Accountant as well as Chief Accountant. In order to further her studies, She completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Development Finance as well as in Business Finance obtained from the Universities of Birmingham and Brunel respectively.

When Bishop Stella joined her family in the UK, she worked in the Finance Division of Christian Aid London for more than ten years. The calling became more intense and she answered by starting a fellowship at her residence. With a humble and small beginning, the Ministry was later inaugurated in 2004, in Tilbury Town, Essex, where it has it's headquarters to date. Zechariah 4:10 says, ‘Do not despise these small beginnings for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin’(NLT)

By the grace of God, Bishop Stella attended the Universal Bible College in London, as part time student and studied Theology and Pastoral care and graduated in 2007. In the same year, on the 7th of July 2007, she was ordained as a Reverend. It was not easy working full time, with Christian Aid, and at the same time working with the Ministry.

In August 2010, Bishop Stella, resigned to work as full time employee of Christian Aid London and proceeded for further studies in Theology at Mattersey Hall Graduate School (affiliated to Glyndwr University) where she completed Master Degree in Theology (MTh) and graduated in June 2012.

On the 21st October 2017, Bishop Stella was consecrated as a Bishop, a position which she holds up to Now. Bishop Stella is also the author of Books including, Your Vision will Never Die. It is an Inspirational book which encourages people to work hard on their visions which God has given to them.

Apart from being a Chancellor of the Glory of God Ministries International Institute, Bishop Stella is Studying Master of Sacred Theology which will prepare her to continue to Study for the Doctorate in Ministry.

Bishop Stella is Married to Christopher Matte and they live in the United Kingdom with their Family. Stella travels regularly to various Nations of the World.
